Highlights of activities
In 2015, Master Drilling Group acquired 40% of Bergteamet Raise Boring Europe AB. Then, in 2018, Master Drilling Group became the 100% owner when the remaining 60% of the shares were acquired. Raise boring had been a part of Bergteamet AB’s business since 2005.
In 2022, Master Drilling raisebored five shafts for Tiroler Wasserkraft AG, a hydro power plant is 2100 m above sea level in the Austrian Alps.
In early 2022, Master Drilling Europe started the development of two ventilation shafts in Boliden Kankberg mine in the Boliden area.
Master Drilling has been awarded a contract by OHLA Sverige as part of the Stockholm Metro expansion project.
Master Drilling was appointed by AF Gruppen to carry out raise boring of several shafts on Lovön for Trafikverkets major project E4 Förbifart Stockholm.
